Stefano Marguccio

Stefano is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of SEforALL, where he collaborates with all SEforALL teams and key partners to drive tangible progress in key countries and shape the international agenda for a just and equitable energy transition, supporting the implementation of organizational priorities under the ongoing strategic plan. He is also focused on strengthening institutional processes and internal programmes within SEforALL as we continue to grow.

A career diplomat with over 19 years of international experience, since 2014 Stefano has been engaged in the climate, environment and energy space, first as Diplomatic Advisor to the Minister of Environment of Italy and more recently as Senior Advisor to the Director General of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). He worked and lived in Albania, France, Venezuela and the United Arab Emirates and represented Italy to the United Nations and the Council of Europe.

Stefano holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Bocconi University, a Master’s degree in Diplomacy from the Institute for International Political Studies of Milano and a degree in Law.
