We help global leaders understand and appreciate the linkages between energy, climate and development by engaging with them through the United Nations system, the G20 and other global fora, including the SEforALL Forum.
Our advocacy and diplomacy efforts aim to catalyse national and subnational commitments to sustainable energy from governments in the Global South, supported by ambitious offers of financial and technical support from the Global North.
We also advise countries on enhancing national climate and energy commitments through NDCs and UN-Energy Compacts, and we work with cities, companies, and civil-society organizations to help maintain momentum and bolster national-level goals.
