Ahmed M. Saeed
Ahmed M. Saeed is the CEO of Allied Climate Partners. Prior to that he has held a number of leadership roles in the public and private sectors. Since 2019 he has served as Vice President for East Asia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific at the Asian Development Bank, with responsibility for all ADB operations in these regions.
From 2012-2019, Ahmed was Managing Director and Head of Public Sector (MENA) for JPMorgan Chase, based in Dubai. Ahmed was responsible for coverage, across all product lines, of sovereign wealth funds, central banks and Ministries of Finance in the Middle East and North Africa. He has raised over $100 bn in financing for emerging markets governments and advised on numerous noteable transactions.
From 2004-8, Ahmed served in senior US government positions, working for two US Secretaries of the Treasury, John Snow and Hank Paulson. Ahmed was a White House Fellow and Advisor to the Secretary of the Treasury and, from 2005 until 2008, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury for the Middle East and Africa. In the latter role, he was the senior US government official responsible for American financial policy engagement with 68 countries.
