Jon Lane, is the Director, Partnerships & Development at SEForALL. Hel leads the Partnerships & Development team who are responsible for developing partnerships and all aspects of securing resources for the organization’s work from the donor community including governments, multilateral agencies, philanthropies, corporations and individuals.

The team identifies prospective donors, initiates and advances funding conversations, writes proposals and grants, manages negotiations with donors and oversees contracting. The team is also responsible for grant management and donor relations. 

Previously, Jon worked for Carbon Trust where he spent the last eight years leading the building and development of the Transforming Energy Access (TEA) programme principally funded by the UK FCDO and IKEA Foundation. TEA is a research and innovation platform supporting the technologies, business models and skills needed to enable an inclusive clean energy transition. At the end of 2023, TEA had enabled 22 million people to gain access to clean energy, raised an additional $1.5 billion in co-finance from other public and provide sector sources, and avoided 1.6 million tones of CO2. 

Jon holds a Master's degree with Distinction in Logic & Scientific Method from London School of Economics.
