Will Brexit threaten EU's climate leadership?

Britain's vote to leave the European Union has disrupted everyday affairs and may displace climate concerns as a political priority. The decision also removes what has traditionally been one of the EU's strongest voices in favor of emissions-cutting policies.

Rachel Kyte - CEO, Sustainable Energy for All and Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Sustainable Energy for All - recently spoke with Alissa De Carbonnel and Nina Chestney of Reuters.

Kyte said Brexit "is at very best a massive distraction and at very worst, disruption. Having a strong Europe push from the front has been a repeated pattern of breakthroughs."
