Emeka Oragunye

As Regional Director for Africa, Emeka supports on-ground, high-level engagement with governments and other stakeholders in African countries, including providing management, oversight and coordination of SEforALL country managers and country-level workstreams and activities; and cultivating new opportunities for SEforALL to support countries in achieving SDG7 and a clean energy transition. 

Emeka has over 18 years’ experience in the energy sector, having worked in the Energy department of the African Development Bank, implementing and managing projects in public and private sector across Africa, as well as, Marubeni Corporation, ENGIE (formerly Gaz de France) and APR Energy, a subsidiary of Atlas Corporation, an NYSE listed Asset Management company. That experience encompasses project management, development, finance and implementation.

Emeka holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Environmental Science and Master’s degree in Energy Economics.
