2013 World Water Week emphasizes Water-Energy-Food Nexus

Stockholm, Sweden – September 2013 - World Water Week is hosted and organised by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) and takes place each year in Stockholm. This year, several events highlighted the interlinkages between water and energy. Dr. Kandeh Yumkella, Special Representative for Sustainable Energy for All and CEO of the initiative, spoke at the closing plenary and helped to usher the Water and Energy theme for 2014.
