Workshop on Voluntary Action Plan on Doubling the Rate of Energy Efficiency Improvement by 2030

As a trailblazer in energy efficiency, India is driving a comprehensive "Strategic Plan for Advancing Energy Efficiency Across Demand Sectors by 2030." The G20, underlining voluntary action, aims to double the global rate of energy efficiency improvement by 2030. This workshop's objectives are geared towards (i) fostering collaboration between Global North and South G20 countries and delving into tracking mechanisms and necessary financing and (ii) implementing high-impact opportunities in India by sharing learnings, best practices, and case studies. The expected outcome of the workshop is a summary of actionable insights that can propel energy efficiency in India and assist G20 nations in implementing the voluntary action plan to double the rate of energy efficiency improvement by 2030.
