Meeting of the Troika+ of Women Leaders on Gender and Climate Change

COP 22 in Marrakesh provides a timely opportunity to revisit and strengthen key gender considerations under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) as Parties begin preparatory work for the implementation of the Paris Agreement. This meeting of the Troika+ of Women Leaders on Gender and Climate Change will explore options for achieving the goal of gender balance, promoting gender responsive climate policy and enabling grassroots women’s participation.
