Launch of the United Nations Decade of Sustainable Energy for All in the Americas

Objectives The launch has the following goals: i) To provide a platform for announcements and specific contributions in the energy sector, and ii) To create a declaration about the vision for SEforALL for the next 10 years. After the launch, we will hold a Regional Meeting and two days of technical sessions within the SEforALL framework (the three objectives: access, efficiency, and renewables). These activities serve to: i) define and agree on actions for SEforALL Americas for the next 10 years, ii) Define priority actions for each objective that can be addressed in 12 months to advance the goals of SEforALL in the Americas, and iii) Identify how the proposed actions will be carried out.
