How to scale-up sustainable urban mobility
In this webinar, the new Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) report Switching Gears: Enabling Access to Sustainable Urban Mobility was presented.
The report assesses the status of the energy-mobility nexus, and how to scale sustainable urban mobility access as rapidly as possible. It identifies 19 countries around the world –13 in Sub-Saharan Africa, and Bolivia, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Nepal and the Philippines – and an accompanying set of 260 fast-growing small-to-medium-sized cities where the highest impact on the SDGs can be anticipated. It also proposes three solutions to unite energy and mobility in these cities.
